April is jam-packed and I am behind with my April poetry journey. So, I'm including some written this year, not just in April :-)
Nature
(in broken Haiku)
Despite the war of
words that embellish our lives,
The flower still blooms.
Despite the struggle
of man and his rivals, the
bloom still creates seeds,
That drift across the
Lands of promise, that assures
Us that life and love
always makes a way.
(in broken Haiku)
Despite the war of
words that embellish our lives,
The flower still blooms.
Despite the struggle
of man and his rivals, the
bloom still creates seeds,
That drift across the
Lands of promise, that assures
Us that life and love
always makes a way.

Their Hands
And in a moment
He reached his hand toward her
And in an automatic symphony
Of familiarity and love
She clasped her hand in his
And intertwined
Were their spirits.
Amen.

Of familiarity and love
She clasped her hand in his
And intertwined
Were their spirits.
Amen.

The Prophecy - The Prayer
In Haiku
My Lord My God, we
Pray that you show us the path
That was prophesied
We pray that you guide
Our steps through the doors you have
Set forth to be opened
Or those doors destined
To be closed as you see fit
For redirection
Father, we seek to
Hear you in this time and space
So we may be sure
That we are in place
For kingdom building for the
Salvation of souls
Father
Hear our prayer.
Amen.
