Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father God, thank you for this Word. Thank you for every time this word rings in my heart and my head - that my heart should not be troubled. Father, thank you for this reminder to believe - to believe in God, to believe in Jesus. Father, I believe. Jesus, I believe. And it is my prayer that your loving spirit will settle over the troubles of my heart. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. |

Morning Scripture
“Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”” John 14:5-7 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.5-7.NKJV ““No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, 21ss see and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”” John 14:5-7 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.14.5-7.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, this is our opportunity to trust you. Father, as we grow, we learn more and more to trust you. We trust that you are the truth and the life. We trust that to know you is to know the Father. Thank you, Lord, for these thy gifts of trust and faith. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. |

Morning Scripture
“Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” John 14:8-9 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.8-9.NKJV “Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?” John 14:8-9 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.14.8-9.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, thank you for being with us ‘all this time.’ Father, thank you for this reminder to look around - to breathe in the essence of all things - to see the love in family; to see the beauty in flowers; to feel the glory of life; and the joy of salvation. Father, thank you for being an ever-present presence in our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray and bask in the sunshine of knowing that to know you is LOVE and to know Jesus is to know the FATHER. Bless Jesus! I know this prayer rambles. But when I read this scripture, and Jesus said, “ Have I been with you all this time…” My heart jumped with joy - just to be reminded that God - Jesus - and yes, the Holy Spirit, is ever-present is a Hallelujah moment. (Yep, still rambling. But if you know the joy of Jesus, you know.) |

Morning Scripture
““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.12.NKJV ““I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” John 14:12 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.14.12.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, thank you for this reminder that reminds us of who we are. This reminds us that if we believe in you, we do as you do - we love others, we serve others, we walk with humility, we stand in the gap for others. Thank you for reminding us to stop waiting, as you have gone to the Father, we are here to continue your work on earth. Glory and service to your name, Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen Ok. Y'all know I don’t like to skip scriptures, but this scripture reached out and grabbed me. It is also fitting today because someone who truly believed in Godly service transitioned to her heavenly home last night. And I am grateful to have been a recipient of her desire to live a Christlike life. Thank you for your service to others. May God welcome you home. Love you, Momma McD |
