Morning Scripture
“The people answered Him, “We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?” Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.” John 12:34-36 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.12.34-36.NKJV “The crowd responded, “We understood from Scripture that the Messiah would live forever. How can you say the Son of Man will die? Just who is this Son of Man, anyway?” Jesus replied, “My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light.” After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them.” John 12:34-36 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.12.34-36.NLT |

Morning Scripture
“But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again: “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”” John 12:37-40 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.12.37-40.NKJV “But despite all the miraculous signs Jesus had done, most of the people still did not believe in him. This is exactly what Isaiah the prophet had predicted: “Lord, who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?” But the people couldn’t believe, for as Isaiah also said, “The Lord has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts— so that their eyes cannot see, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and have me heal them.”” John 12:37-40 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.12.37-39.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father God, forgive us, please. Father, daily we see your miraculous wonders, yet sometimes our hearts are filled with doubt. Please, Lord, forgive our human frailty. Guide our hearts, Father, to settle and breathe in your goodness and the reality that you are present -right now - in our lives. You are as close as our next heartbeat, and I am grateful. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Amazing how the WORD hits us right where we need it. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. |
