Morning Scripture
““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.12-14.NKJV ““I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” John 14:12-14 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.14.12-14.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, thank you for causing us to pause and think of Jesus. Thank you for reminding us to ask in Jesus’ name, and that you are glorified in all things through Christ Jesus. But most importantly, you remind us to believe, to focus on you, and all things are possible. I. Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Father God, we come to you in prayer. We acknowledge that you are our father and we believe and have faith in you. Today, Lord, we praise you for all that you have done, and for these thy gifts we say thank you. We ask _______________. We believe that you will provide what we need to fulfill your purpose in our lives today. Thank you, Lord for these thy gifts. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Again, a little rambling, but straight from the heart. The scripture reminded us to stop, breathe, and believe - in Jesus’ name. Amen. |

Morning Scripture
““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John 14:15-17 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.15-17.NKJV ““If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.” John 14:15-17 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.14.15-17.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, thank you for Jesus, who asked on our behalf so that we would never be alone. Father, thank you for granting his request and giving us the Holy Spirit to guide us. Father, as we still our hearts, allow the Holy Spirit to fill our presence, to grant us the familiar love and peace that you desire for us. Father God, glory to your name for knowing what we needed all those years ago. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. |

Morning Scripture
““A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.19.NKJV “Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live.” John 14:19 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.14.19.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Thank you, Lord, for memory. Thank you, Jesus, for reminding us that although we will not see your physical presence, you are with us because you have lived with us and loved us. Remind us to rely on your teaching, because you taught us to live, love, and serve. Guide us to live like Jesus. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Father, thank you for this scripture, this day. Father, as we lay the physical presence of Mrs. McD to rest, this scripture reminds us that while she was physically with us, she lived. She lived a life of love, peace, and service. And because of her bountiful life, we live today - with the memories of her spirit, her lessons, and her love—the life of a true example of a virtuous woman. We thank you for her presence then, and we thank you for the memories now and always. Thank you, Lord, for this thy gift. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. With love and gratefulness. Rest well! |
