Morning Scripture
““A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” John 14:19-20 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.19-20.NKJV ““A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” John 14:19-20 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.19-20.NKJV |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Thank you for teaching us that through your power you live in us. Thank you for reminding us that if you live in us - so does your strength live in us, so does your power live us, so does your grace and mercy live in us, and so does our Father live in us - because He lives in you. Father, teach us to rely on the source you have placed within us. Glory to your name and your spirit - that lives in us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Ok. Side bar. The song in my head is from Mufasa - He lives in you. Not quite the same, but the overwhelming surge that you feel in your chest when you listen to that song… is what we should feel when we know that God lives in us. Glory and Amen (I tried to only include the 'short' version - but I guess we need to hear the whole thing. I LOVE This. I get goose bumps, I remember my daddy and grandparents - and I remember the power of Jesus who lives in me. Glory to God)

Morning Scripture
“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”” John 14:21 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.21.NKJV “Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”” John 14:21 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.14.21.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, thank you for inspiring those who have written your teachings and formed our modern-day Bible. Thank you for reminding us that when we follow your teachings, you reveal yourself to us. Father, as we read your word, please pour your spirit into our hearts, guide our actions, and reveal yourself to us. Father, we know that we are often hesitant and stubborn. Please don’t give up on us. We love you, Lord, and seek daily to shed our human frailty and lean into your strength. It is in Jesus’ name we pray and praise you in advance. Amen. |
